Jamie Dimon Rips Democrats: ‘Big Hearts and Little Brains’
Fox Business anchor David Asman played a clip on Friday of “America’s top banker, Jamie Dimon,” laying into Democrats.
Asman reported on Thursday’s remark from Dimon, saying quote, “I have a lot of friends who are Democrats and they’re idiots. I always say they have big hearts and little brains. They do not understand how the real world works. Almost every single policy rolled out failed.”
“Kind of reminds you of what Winston Churchill said long ago: ‘If you’re not a socialist when you’re young, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative when you are old, you’ve got no brain,’” added Asman.
“Yeah, it’s unfortunate that there are too many of those people who are not maintaining the excuse that they’re young and foolish and believe young and foolish things. There are a lot of older people—I mean, my God, look at Bernie Sanders,” replied Fox contributor Gerry Baker, adding:
He can’t use the, you know, 20-year-old socialist excuse in his case. No, I think, look, we are a very divided society and we’re becoming more divided in many, many ways. Social media, digital age, the advent of AI is going to exacerbate all of these things. It’s really, really throwing all kinds of things into the mix that we haven’t seen before.
I’m an immigrant to this country, I’m proud of this country. I’m a proud American. I’ve lived here for 30 years. I think it’s the greatest country in the history of the planet. And I think that it will continue to be. So I will end up by disagreeing with Tom Sowell. I think America will make it. But it’s going to be a bumpy ride—fasten your seatbelts.
