‘Let’s F****** Go!’ Worked Up Trump Fan Drops F-Bomb Live On Fox News at Inauguration Party
An enthusiastic supporter of President Donald Trump caught Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins off-guard with an unedited f-bomb on Monday during a live broadcast from a post-inauguration party in Union Pub.
During Fox’s inauguration coverage, Jenkins did a live shot from the Union Pub in Washington, D.C., where many who had intended to be at an outdoor inauguration ceremony found themselves instead indoors at a pub after changes to the day’s plans were made due to the bitterly cold weather.
It was clear the drinks were flowing at the pub and the very loud and very jazzed crowd was happy to talk about it. In one man’s case, perhaps a bit too happy.
After speaking with other customers, Jenkins turned to a man shouting “MAGA” while wearing a MAGA beanie and asked, “Are you happy to be here?”
The man then shouted to the camera, “Semper Fi! Marine Corps! Let’s fucking go!”
Jenkins moved on but it was unclear if he heard the F-bomb or not. He mentioned there were families at the event and looked for a woman with a child he’d intended to speak with, but she apparently left just after the “let’s fucking go” moment.
When they cut back to Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier in the studio, Baier got good laughs when he closed out by saying, “Live TV, Griff Jenkins, Union Pub, alcohol. There you go. Throw in. Stir.”
MACCALLUM: Griff Jenkins is at a very important spot after any inaugural. He’s at the Union Pub where quite a few folks have gathered and they have screens there, they’ll be watching all of this as well. It’s good that they have found a good pub as an alternative to being out on the mall, Griff. Whatare they talking about in there?
JENKINS: Martha, let me tell you. We’re just a few blocks from the rotunda where they have been partying, and they don’t mind that they’re not in the rotunda. They don’t mind that they’re not in the Capital One arena. Most of them had a Plan A, and tickets, and spent money, but they’re coming from all over and they’re just happy to be here witnessing this history. Okay. What’s your name?
CROWD MEMBER: Taylor.
JENKINS: Where are you from?
CROWD MEMBER: Minnesota!
JENKINS: Minnesota. Now, did you have other plans than this?
CROWD MEMBER: Yes. We were going to try to stand outside, but our plans changed.
JENKINS: And are you happy you ended up here?
CROWD MEMBER: Yes!
JENKINS: Yeah. Good time. People are having so much fun. Where’s – there’s one one young woman here somewhere. Where where are you from?
CROWD MEMBER: France.
JENKINS: What?
CROWD MEMBER: France.
JENKINS: France! Were you going to be in a bar in D.C. every …
CROWD MEMBER: Exactly, all the time.
JENKINS: All right. We’ve got people from all over the place, people that met each other.
CROWD MEMBER: MAGA!
JENKINS: Are you happy to be here?
CROWD MEMBER: Semper Fi! Marine Corps! Let’s fucking go!
JENKINS: And I can tell you, Fred and Martha, there’s.Some families here as well. Where’s that young woman, young lady with a child, she’s over here. Come on, come on. Come over here.
CROWD: USA! USA!
JENKINS: Okay. She’s walking away. She’s nervous, I was going to put her on. But you can see the party environment here has been huge. And what’s really fascinating is that most of the people came from across the country. San Francisco. All over and they’re just happy. Where are you from?
CROWD MEMBER: I’m from Indiana. South Bend.
JENKINS: Are you glad to be here?
CROWD MEMBER: Inaudible.
JENKINS: Alright, that’s the scene out of here. I can’t hear you. I’m going to send it back to you.
MACCALLUM: All right. I bet that South Bend lady is going to be sticking around for the Notre Dame Ohio game. And it sounds like everybody’s pretty warmed up in there.
BAIER: Think they’re warmed up. Live TV, Griff Jenkins, Union Pub, alcohol. There you go. Throw in. Stir.
