Trump and Putin Will NOT Meet One-on-One — Rubio and Witkoff Joining

President Donald Trump will no longer meet with Vladimir Putin one-on-one to discuss Russia’s war with Ukraine on Friday, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reported.
Air Force One touched down at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson outside of Anchorage, AK, Friday afternoon, where Trump and Putin are scheduled to meet. Putin’s plane landed shortly afterward on the tarmac that featured a red carpet for the two leaders to walk down together.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not invited to the meeting. He told Trump this week
“A White House official confirms Trump’s one-on-one with Putin is no longer happening,” Collins wrote on social media. “Instead it will be a three-on-three, with Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio joining Trump. Not clear who will join Putin from the Russian side.”
In a second post, Collins added, “For the expanded bilaterial meeting and working lunch, Trump will be joined by Secretary Marco Rubio, Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary Scott Bessent, Secretary [Howard] Lutnick, Special Envoy Witkoff and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, per a White House official.”
Earlier on Air Force One, Trump told reporters, “There’s nothing set in stone” for the meeting’s agenda.
Trump added:
I want certain things. I want to see a ceasefire. This is not to do with Europe. Europe’s not telling me what to do, but they’re going to be involved in the process, obviously, as well as Zelensky. But, I want to see a ceasefire rapidly. I don’t know if it’s going to be today, but I’m not going to be happy if it’s not today. Everyone said it can’t be today. But I’m just saying, I want the killing to stop. We’re in this to stop the killing.
