Former President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump fantasized about President Joe Biden being reinstalled as the Democratic nominee on Monday, claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris could be replaced herself after supplanting Biden this summer.

“Comrade Kamala Harris goes to an ultra Left Wing, Trump Hating, spice shop, which I hear has terrible, overpriced product, and calls for ‘unity,'” wrote Trump in a post on Truth Social Monday afternoon.

“As people begin to realize that she is a Marxist, FAR MORE LIBERAL than Crazy Bernie Sanders, or even Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren, her poll numbers are beginning to crash,” he claimed. “Who are they going to put in next? How about a Biden comeback?”

On Sunday, The New York Times and Siena College released a poll of 1695 registered voters between September 3 and September 6 showing that Trump had a modest national lead over Harris that fell within the 2.8% margin of error.

Elections analyst Nate Silver’s electoral forecast model, meanwhile, now gives Trump a 63.8% chance of winning the electoral college, leaving Harris with just a 36% chance of prevailing.

Silver’s model also predicts that Trump would win every major swing state and 312 electoral votes, which would outstrip the total he won when he first won the White House back in 2016.

Trump and Harris will debate each other on ABC News Tuesday night in what will be one of the most highly anticipated and high-stakes events of this very tight presidential race.
