Trump Lashes Out In The Dead Of Night Hours Before Bombshell Testimony — To Rage At Whoopi Goldberg

Former President Donald Trump went on the attack in the middle of the night ahead of the biggest day of testimony in his criminal trial — but his target was Hollywood superstar Whoopi Goldberg.

After a week that featured over six hours of testimony from  Stormy Daniels in the hush money-election interference trial, Monday will see the all-important testimony of former Trump attorney/fixer Michael Cohen — who will likely be cross-examined by Trump attorney Todd Blanche.

But Trump — bound by a gag order — used the occasion of a 1:36 a.m. Truth Social outburst to blurt out an attack on the Emmy-Grammy-Oscar-Tony (EGOT) award-winning host of The View.

In response to his brief Mother’s Day message, a user posted a meme featuring an unflatteringly altered photo of Whoopi with the invented caption, “I’m moving to Canada for sure this time!”

Trump was moved to write, into the darkness of night, “Canada doesn’t want you Whoopi, NOBODY DOES!!!”

Goldberg has long been a vocal critic of Trump, including a 2011 confrontation with the then-businessman over his promotion of the racist “birther” conspiracy.

After Trump complained that “birthers” are derided as idiots, he asked, “Why doesn’t he show his birth certificate?”

“Why should he have to?” Whoopi shot back.

After a lot of crosstalk, Trump declared, “I want him to show his birth certificate. I want him to show his birth certificate. There’s something on that birth certificate that he doesn’t like.”

“That’s a terrible thing to say,” then-cohost Barbara Walters said.

Trump said “Whoopi I love you, I’m telling you…”

“I love you too,” Goldberg interrupted and added, “I think that’s the biggest pile of dog mess I’ve heard in ages.”

As Trump continued to rant, Goldberg sarcastically said, “It’s not cuz he’s black.”

“It has nothing to do with that,” Trump insisted.

“Has any white president asked to be shown the birth certificate?” Goldberg asked. “When they become the president of the United States of America you know that he’s American, I’m sorry, that’s BS.”

Goldberg was also a guest on this week’s edition of Max’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, but the subject of Trump didn’t come up.
