Trump Voter Begs For Help With Gas Prices To MS NOW — Says Trump Economy ‘All F*cked Up!’

A Trump supporter named Joseph Moncrief told MS NOW that the economy is “All f*cked up!” and issued a plea to President Donald Trump for relief from high gas prices.d

News broke on Tuesday that average gas prices in the United States surpassed $4.00 per gallon for the first time since 2022 as the Iran war rages into its second month.

On Tuesday night’s edition of MS NOW’s All In with Chris Hayes, host Chris Hayes slammed Trump over the rising prices, then tossed to Moncrief’s interview with MS NOW journalist and documentarian Alex Tabet.

Tabet asked Moncrief “What’s your message to President Trump about these gas prices right now?”:

MS NOW HOST CHRIS HAYES: We’re seeing one of the fastest monthly increases in gas prices ever, and you do have Donald Trump to thank for it.

The national average has now topped $4 a gallon. That’s up more than a dollar from just a month ago when Trump launched his war on Iran.

We’re already starting to see little Trump “I did that” stickers pop up at gas pumps all across the country. I imagine we’ll likely see even more as prices continue to rise. Enterprising critics of the president are already selling them in bulk online.

That represents a real growing dissatisfaction of the way Trump has handled this entire situation, including among people who voted for him.

TRUMP SUPPORTER JOSEPH MONCRIEF: Right now, I’m paying $2,600 or more for my rent, and that ain’t no bills included, you know what I mean? Like, this is really, really, really, really hard! My wife’s about to be pregnant. She’s due in about next week. And it is extremely difficult.

MS NOW JOURNALIST AND DOCUMENTARIAN ALEX TABET: If you could pick one word to describe the state of the economy right now, what would that one word be?

TRUMP SUPPORTER JOSEPH MONCRIEF: All f**ked up! All f***ed up! It’s not at, it’s because it’s all over the place.

MS NOW JOURNALIST AND DOCUMENTARIAN ALEX TABET: What’s your message to President Trump about these gas prices right now?

TRUMP SUPPORTER JOSEPH MONCRIEF: I would say we need help with it, because we’re citizens and we have to pay these prices and it’s not easy, it’s no easy at all.

MS NOW JOURNALIST AND DOCUMENTARIAN ALEX TABET: What’s the point of this war? Are you happy that we’re in this war?

TRUMP SUPPORTER JOSEPH MONCRIEF: Nah. I don’t think we should have anything to do with anything that ain’t inside of our country. I think that it’s completely wrong when we go to other countries and go to war over there.

They’re not coming over here with that bulls**t leave that s**t home.
