‘You’re an A**hole!’ Joe Rogan Torching Trump’s Hardline Deportation Policies on Resurfaced Podcast Goes Viral

A 2018 clip from Joe Rogan is going viral seven years later — in which the podcaster slammed President Donald Trump’s immigration and deportation policies.
Rogan, in the resurfaced clip, heavily criticized Trump’s deportation policy and the immorality behind separating mothers away from their children.
“If you want to spend 100 years saying ‘hey she shouldn’t have fucking broke the law’ I don’t want you on the team, you’re an asshole,” Rogan said in the 2018 clip. “I don’t give a fuck if you’re right or left, or I don’t care if you’re religious, or I don’t care if you’re an atheist, if that’s what you support you’re an asshole and we don’t want you on our team.”
Trump told TIME magazine, in a recent interview, that his goal was to target 15 million people for removal from the U.S. He said he was even open to using the military to do it. At the end of April, the Trump administration said it had deported more than 139,000 migrants, which was behind where they needed to be to reach their target number. Last Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security provided TIME with updated numbers: more than 207,000 people deported from the U.S.
But the 2018 clip shows Rogan vehemently criticizing such immigration enforcement.
“If you were in the presence of a woman who came over here from Guatemala and she’s poor and she’s starving and they’re taking her baby away and she’s wailing and screaming from a primal, a primal place in her DNA that the one thing she loves more than anything is being taken away, a baby. If that doesn’t freak you the fuck out you are not a part of the team, man. You’re missing it. You’re missing it.” Rogan said.
The podcast host added, “I don’t give a fuck if they broke the law, you don’t take parents and kids and separate them, you just fucking don’t it’s disgusting. If you’re saying ‘well maybe they shouldn’t have broke the law,’ maybe they shouldn’t have broke the law, you don’t get to do something that’s a thousand times worse than crossing a line in the dirt. That fucking imaginary line in the dirt, crossing that is nothing in comparison to your crime of stealing a baby from its mother. That’s fucking insane.”
