Alex Wagner to Take Over Martin Bashir’s 4PM MSNBC Slot
The host of MSNBC’s noon panel show Now, Alex Wagner, will be heading to afternoons to take over for former host Martin Bashir. According to a report in MediaBistro, Wagner will take over as the permanent host of the 4 p.m. ET timeslot starting on January 13.
Wagner debuted as the host of Now in November, 2011. Bashir resigned in November after he became embroiled in a controversy after suggesting that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin should be subjected to slavery-like tortures.
