Bachmann: Clinton Should Be ‘Extremely Concerned’ About Elizabeth Warren

Everyone who doesn’t want a boring Democratic primary with an uncontested, pre-coronated winner is hoping someone like Elizabeth Warren runs to challenge Hillary Clinton. And on Crossfire last night, Michele Bachmann weighed into the contest by saying that if Warren runs, she would attract lots of Democrats and that should make the Clinton camp nervous.

Bachmann said there’s no way Warren could pull Republican voters with some centrist populism, but did acknowledge “she will be an extremely attractive candidate for the Democrat voters in 2016.” And if she does, Bachmann added, “if I was Mrs. Clinton, I would be extremely concerned with what I see.”

That being said, Bachmann did get in a dig at the national media “swoonfest” over Warren because she promotes progressive policies and the media loves that.
