Bill Maher Cracks Up Kaitlan Collins with Brutal Roast of Cory Booker’s Engagement Photos
Bill Maher cracked up CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during his “new rule” segment on HBO’s Real Time in which he brutally roasted Sen Cory Booker’s (D-NJ) engagement photos.
On Friday’s Real Time, Maher carved out some time to mock Booker’s engagement announcement and how it affects his 2028 chances, should he choose to run.
“New rule! After we congratulate Senator Cory Booker on his recent engagement, he has to explain why his engagement photos look like an ad for prescription drugs,” Maher joked as the audience broke into laughter and Collins cracked up at the dig.
Maher argued the photos are to break the “stigma of being a bachelor” in case Booker chooses to run, but they feel too inauthentic to make that point.
“These pictures don’t make me think, great, now we can run for president without the stigma of being a bachelor,” Maher said. “They make me thing, don’t let moderate to Severe Ulcerative Colitis stand in your way. Ask your doctor about Zorlaxa!”

Booker announced his engagement to Alexis Lewis earlier this week with pictures on Instagram of the two in Hawaii.

Booker ran for president during the 2020 presidential race, but suspended his campaign after less than a year.
