Bill O’Reilly on The View: Bernie Sanders Has ‘No Chance At All’
During a Monday appearance on ABC’s The View, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders had no chance to win the presidency because of his socialist views.
O’Reilly said that if Vice President Joe Biden entered the race, he’d have a chance, but none of the other Clinton challengers did. “Right now Hillary Clinton is the nominee. Bernie Sanders has no chance at all, and I don’t even know what the other three guys’ names are,” he joked.
“Look, I’m not going to run these guys down but they don’t have any chance, including Bernie,” he continued. “Bernie, I love him, he’s very entertaining. You don’t know this, but he was on my show a lot until he decided to run for president…”
“Americans aren’t going to vote for a socialist,” he said simply. “If you don’t believe me, book a flight to Venezuela, check it out. That’s a socialist country. I don’t think Bernie has ever been there, but he should. He has no chance; Hillary is the nominee.”
