Brian Kilmeade Blasts Elon Musk for ‘Crazy’ Claim Trump Is in Epstein Files: ‘What Are You DOING?!’

Viewers tuning in Friday morning to see who Fox & Friends supported in the ugly fight between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk were likely relieved to see they were still MAGA.

The largely pro-Trump Fox News morning show opened the 6 a.m. hour discussing the very ugly spat between the two billionaires who had enjoyed a symbiotic and collaborative political relationship until this week.

On Thursday, Trump said that Musk had “gone crazy” and suggested Musk should no longer benefit from billion-dollar federal contracts and government subsidies. In return, Musk agreed with a social media post suggesting Trump be impeached and, even worse, claimed that the reason why the “Epstein Files” have not been released is to cover up the fact that Trump’s name is featured in them.

Maybe I am a little too optimistic, but they’re both alpha males,” Lawrence Jones opened. “They fight. It’s dirty. I got a friend like this. I love him to death. But when we fight, it is, I don’t know what gets over us. We don’t do it publicly, but we love each other.”

“Here’s the reality, though — There’s nowhere else to go. In this breakup. It’s not like Elon can suddenly become a Democrat or join some other party. We’re in a binary system,” he added. “He is our George Soros on the right, and Donald Trump is the Barack Obama of the party. There is no split. I think the call, based on my sources that I’ve talked to, is going to happen today. They’re going to bury the hatchet. We wish this would have not happened publicly and happened privately, but you got two strong alpha males that are deep in their convictions.”

Brian Kilmeade cited a social media post by Bill Ackman, which envisioned a peaceful resolution between the two metaphoric 800-pound gorillas, but then took a decidedly pro-Trump angle in blaming Musk for how things went down, particularly the child sex trafficker smear.

“The Epstein file thing was way over the top and just crazy to say that Trump was in the Epstein files,” Kilmeade said. “I mean, what are you doing!?”

“I mean, sometimes when people get drunk. They do crazy things,” he continued, “But this is a total escalation by Elon Musk.”

“I give Trump so much credit. For the most part, he’s measured, wants to be here, appreciates what he did,” Kilmeade said, praising Trump. The EV mandate was eliminated. He’s not happy about it. He says foundationally he doesn’t like the bill. You know what? The bill might actually get better because of Musk, and I think we’re working towards that right now. Elon Musk, and I know it sounds crazy, he just doesn’t understand politics. He has no idea about compromise.”
