Hume: Hillary Health Questions ‘Partisan,’ But Campaigns Do Take Physical Toll
Brit Hume appeared on The Kelly File Tuesday night to take on Karl Rove‘s controversial Hillary Clinton “brain damage” remark, saying the comment “looks unmistakably partisan” and therefore “diminishes” whatever potential harm it could have done to the Clinton camp.
That being said, Hume pointed out Clinton will have to release her health records at some point to show she’s in good condition to be president, but for now we have “no reason to believe” she’s not healthy. He also noted that running for president physically and emotionally drains a person, so Clinton will have to factor that in to any decision to run in 2016.
But as for Rove’s comment, Hume predicted this “blows over really quickly.” He did find it ridiculous that anyone would say the comment was sexist (men’s health issues have been called into question before on the presidential campaign trail).
