CNN’s John Berman Goes on Hysterical Rant Against ‘Daylight Saving Time Police’

That thing we all did Sunday, turning the clocks ahead an hour, what is it called? Daylight Savings Time?

WRONG. WRONG, you grammatically-challenged peons. It is Daylight Saving Time, and CNN anchor John Berman got quite an earful on Twitter about the correct term, and on the air he went on a bit of a rant against the critics.

He called out the roughly “ten thousand people [who] decided it was their duty on Twitter” to point out his egregious error, and marveled at how so many people that they prophylactically took to Twitter at 2 A.M. the morning of, just to make sure that no one uses it.”

Berman cried, “Stop bothering me about it on Twitter!” He concluded, “So to all the Daylight Saving Time S police out there, I say take your hour, be happy about it, and stop acting like a bunch of jerk.”
