CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Gushes Over ‘Courageous Politician’ Marjorie Taylor Greene
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer gushed over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) at the conclusion of an interview with the controversial congresswoman on Thursday.
During their conversation, Greene discussed her recent suggestion that a “foreign government or powerful people” might kill her to stop information about Jeffrey Epstein from coming out, as well as Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) taunting response to it.
“Why do crazy people keep thinking ‘the Jews’ are trying to kill them?” wondered Cruz in a tweet.
“What do you say to Cruz and what did you mean by that?” Brown asked Greene, who is no stranger to conspiracy theories, including about Jews.
“Well, first, that was an extremely ridiculous thing for Ted Cruz to say. I never said Jewish people. I’m not anti-Semitic. I don’t hate any people group for their identity or who they are. So that was unbelievably low for a sitting U.S. Senator to say that,” replied Greene. “But what I’m talking about is very real. I have a tremendous amount of death threats. It’s documented. I have some of the highest amount of threats as a sitting member in the House of Representatives.”
“And when you speak about certain issues, we can watch the calls, and the emails, and the messages, they increase and the threats increase,” insisted Greene.
After Brown asked who Greene had been referring to in her tweet, she replied “I’m saying anyone, any foreign government, any people of power.”
The interview concluded with Blitzer showering Greene with praise.
“You’re a courageous politician, but more important, a loving mother. Thanks very much for coming in. We hope you’ll come back here in The Situation Room,” he told her.
“I would love to. Thank you very much,” replied Greene cheerfully.
“Thank you very much, congresswoman. Appreciate it very, very much,” added Blitzer for good measure.
