Culture Warrior Bill O’Reilly Defends Donald Trump’s Dick Joke

Bill O’Reilly, who literally wrote the book on the coarsening of American culture, made excuses for and even defended Donald Trump‘s dick joke tonight, to the complete and utter shock of Bernie Goldberg.

Yes, Bill O’Reilly––who has criticized Hollywood and recording artists many time over for being crude and crass and not setting a good examples for America’s children––was not at all bothered by Trump talking about the size of his penis at a presidential debate watched by tens of millions of people.

He said, “I didn’t take offense to it. I think Trump is doing what he always does, appealing to regular people, playing off the Rubio thing.”

O’Reilly dismissively told an amazed Goldberg that “it was done in a jocular way.” Goldberg cried, “He’s running for president.” O’Reilly countered, “It’s a different era.”

Goldberg asked why someone who’s concerned about the “coarsening of the culture” is so dismissive of this. O’Reilly just said it wasn’t a big deal.
