Don Lemon: So What If Obama Was a Muslim, What Does It Matter?

For once, Donald Trump is in hot water not because of something he said, but because of how he reacted to what someone else said to him. A supporter at his New Hampshire rally rambled about President Obama being a Muslim and how there are too many Muslims with their training camps in America, and he asked Trump what he’s gonna do.

Trump said he’s looking into stuff.

His campaign denied Trump was saying anything about Muslims, but CNN’s Don Lemon wasn’t buying it.

And Lemon had to ask what exactly would be the big deal if Obama was Muslim.

“What if the president was a Muslim?” he asked. “I mean, what does it matter? Aren’t Muslims Americans as well? Don’t we have the right to religion in this country?”
