‘Donald Trump Has Never Proposed Internment Camps!’: CNN Panel Takes a Grim Turn

CNN’s Van Jones snapped at Jeff Lord and Kayleigh McEnany tonight in a heated argument over the fears many people have about a Donald Trump presidency.

McEnany took offense at the idea that people are worried about internment camps, telling Jones, “You should correct that fear! That’s not true! Donald Trump has never proposed internment camps!”

She and Lord pushed back and then Jones said, “You guys won and you need to back off! You need to have a little bit of empathy and understanding for people who are afraid because your candidate has been one of the most explicitly provocative candidates in the history of the country.”

McEnany tried to jump in but Jones snapped, “I’m not gonna be talked over tonight!”

He said that the onus is on them and their candidate to assuage people’s fears now that they’ve been chosen to lead the nation.
