‘Fox & Friends’ Indulges In Some Good, Old-Fashioned White House Bashing On SNL

Saturday Night Live started out with “Fox and Friends,” featuring Taran Killam continuing to kill it with the cable news personality impressions as Steve Doocy. He was joined by Gretchen Carlson, played by Vanessa Bayer, and Brian Kilmeade, played by Bobby Moynihan. The topic for the episode, as is typical with “Fox & Friends,” was what Obama was doing wrong lately. The one year anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death was this week, and everyone agreed that the White House was handling the occasion terribly.

All of the impressions were solid and there was even an appearance by Rupert Murdoch, played by Fred Armisen in a bald cap. Also, unlike most of Saturday Night Live’s cable show parodies, it wasn’t stretched out two minutes too long.
