Fox News’ David Webb on DACA: Democrats Use ‘Illegal Aliens’ as ‘Political Prostitutes’
In the wake of the Trump administration’s announcement that it was rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), more than a dozen Democratic state attorneys general filed suit against President Donald Trump. They argued in the lawsuit that the federal government “backtracked” on a promise to provide protections to young immigrants.
With Democrats pushing back against the White House in the wake of this decision, even as Trump has already softened his stance on DACA, The Fox News Specialists decided to touch on this subject. And guest host David Webb had some choice words for the Democratic Party over the way he perceives they use DREAMers and undocumented immigrants in political battles.
After “specialist” Jessica Tarlov said she was glad Trump at least provided six months for Congress to act on legislation to address DACA’s end, Webb jumped in to praise the president for doing “exactly what’s right.” The Tea Party activist and Fox News contributor also went after Barack Obama for not providing any protection to the DREAMers with DACA.
“The Democrats, with all due respect, Jessica, have used illegal aliens or any form of attachment to that as political pawns,” Webb exclaimed. “And basically they’ve used them as political prostitutes when it comes to what they do with issues. They don’t pass laws!”
“Political prostitutes?” an incredulous Eboni Williams asked Webb.
Williams and fellow host Kat Timpf went back and forth with Webb over his stance on immigration and border security, with Timpf stating that DREAMers don’t represent any security risk.
