Fox News’ Napolitano: Health Care Fight Could End Up Being ‘Politically Catastrophic’ for Republicans
Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano said today if Republicans are victorious in their fight to strike down Obamacare, it will end up being “politically catastrophic.”
Napolitano first talked about the Mueller report and how there might be “some” evidence of conspiracy of obstruction, “just not enough to meet the standard of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.”
At one point, anchor Julie Banderas asked him about the Republican concerns over Obamacare potentially being struck down.
Napolitano called it an “enormous problem” for Republicans.
He said he personally considers Obamacare unconstitutional but if it’s struck down, there’s the question of what it will be replaced with:
“You have 21 million people in the United States receiving government subsidized health insurance as a result of Obamacare. Are you going to take that away from them? It will be politically catastrophic, even though I don’t think it should have come in the first place.”
