Greg Gutfeld Eulogizes the Legacy Media, Pinpoints Their Exact ‘Time of Death’

Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld declared the “legacy media” is dead and he even offered a time of death and a song to go along with it all.

On Wednesday’s Gutfeld!, the Fox News host tore into CNN’s Jake Tapper and his upcoming book — co-authored with Axios’ Alex Thompson — exposing the mental and physical decline of former President Joe Biden while in office and the lengths some officials went to keep it from getting out.

“Wow, you’d think the media would provide a little pushback to the word of the White House,” Gutfeld said.

The Fox host showed clips of Tapper, including one where he pushed back in October 2020 against Lara Trump after she accused Biden of “cognitive decline.” Another included Tapper referring to Biden’s “stutter,” while another brief clip included him calling Biden “sharp.”

“The media is dead and there’s no going back,” Gutfeld declared. “You can blame the Dems or Dr. Jill, but no, this was self-inflicted. And their time of death? June 27, 2024. Cue the bagpipes.”

June 27 was when Biden debated President Donald Trump. His performance led to bipartisan calls for him to step out of the race.

Gutfeld offered up a song to bagpipes to memorialize the “legacy media.” An accompanying video included shots at CNN’s Brian Stelter, MSNBC’s Jen Psaki, among others.

“Farewell to fake authors trying to make extra bucks. Goodbye to the losers and stupid fat [bleeped],” the song went. “You lied about RussiaGate and the lab leak and Jussie Smollett. You lied about Covington and thought we’d forget. You gaslit us on crime with more dirty tricks and you convinced the world Taylor Swift was more than a six. May you rest in pain.”
