Hannity Asks Viewers To Decide Whether Photo From Hunter Biden’s Phone Is Sawdust or Cocaine: ‘Does That Look Like Sawdust to You?’
Fox News host Sean Hannity asked his viewers on Tuesday to decide whether a photo found on one of Hunter Biden’s hard drives showed sawdust or lines of cocaine.
The photo was included in a court filing by the Department of Justice, which is prosecuting the president’s son on nine tax-related counts. He has pleaded not guilty.
“Things are not going so well for members of Joe Biden’s family,” said Hannity on his show. “Lawyers for his son Hunter just had to explain in court a filing that this photo– take a look at this photo right here. Look at that photo from his phone that the government, prosecutors claim show lines of cocaine. That’s what the government prosecutors are saying.”
Hannity continued, “They’re saying that’s sawdust. Take a good look at the sawdust that’s lined up in perfect little lines. Take a close look. Does that look like sawdust to you? We’ll let you decide that.”
Biden’s attorneys claimed on Tuesday that federal prosecutors had mistaken the photo for cocaine when it actually showed lines of sawdust.
The attorneys claimed that Biden’s psychiatrist had sent him the photo of the sawdust as a message to “convey that Mr. Biden, too, could overcome any addiction.”
They also mocked that “mistaking sawdust for cocaine sounds more like a storyline from one of the 1980s Police Academy comedies than what should be expected in a high-profile prosecution by the U.S. Department of Justice.”
While it is not yet clear whether the lines in the photo show sawdust or cocaine, other photos and videos found on Biden’s phone have documented his drug use and previous addiction to crack cocaine.
One photo from 2018 appeared to show Biden smoking a crack pipe while driving his car at high speeds.
