Laura Ingraham Hits Critics of Fox News: ‘We Have Every Right’ To ‘Accurately’ Report On Mueller Probe

On Monday night, Laura Ingraham kicked off her show by responding to those in media critical of Fox News for their coverage of the Robert Mueller investigation.

She slammed the “howling” critics for claiming that her network was “putting the country in danger.”

“So what’s our crime?” Ingraham asked. “Accurately reporting the alarming bias within Special Counsel Bob Mueller’s investigation, despite the fact that Mueller and his team have unearthed no evidence of so-called ‘collusion’ between [Donald] Trump and Russia.”

The Fox News host said the left considers it a crime to “even raise legitimate questions about the staffing and tactics” of the Mueller probe. She then played a montage of the criticisms her network received from its competitors CNN and MSNBC, including Joe Scarborough who said that Fox News’ reporting “could lead to violence.”

“Oh really, Joe? C’mon, even you don’t believe that!” Ingraham reacted. “So let’s get this straight. The Democrat smear machine can run 24/7 maligning President Trump — they use innuendo and anonymous leaks — but the special counsel is beyond reproach?”

She then called out the “warped view” that they can demand the resignation of President Trump for “decades-old allegations” but she can’t call for the resignation of Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe who’s “at the heart” of the eyebrow-raising discoveries about the Mueller probe.

“We have every right to report on the abuse of power within any agency in government, a principle Democrats used to favor,” Ingraham continued. “Indeed, if anyone has attacked law enforcement unfairly over the years, it’s the Democrats and their enablers in the media. Who can forget fanning the flames in St. Louis or Baltimore? This is the same media who denigrated law enforcement officers for years in defense of social justice warriors and false narratives.”
