Mike Pence Demands Trump Administration Release Full Epstein Files: ‘The Time Has Come’

President Donald Trump’s former Vice President Mike Pence publicly called for the release of “all” records related to Jeffrey Epstein, declaring, “the time has come.”

The remarks land as MAGA feuds over whether to accept the conclusive memo from Trump’s Justice Department that Epstein killed himself and did not maintain a secret “client list” to blackmail elites.

The memo served to ignite a conspiracy-fueled political powder keg, and while Trump seeks to dismiss the uproar around Epstein as a “hoax” concocted by Democrats, Pence is aligned himself with a growing bloc of Republicans demanding transparency.

Speaking to CBS News on Wednesday, Pence addressed the story:

I think the time has come for the administration to release all of the files regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s investigation and prosecution. It’s important that we protect the names of the victims. They should be excluded from any disclosure, but whether or not the facts justify charges, I think that anyone who participated or was associated with this despicable man ought to be held up to public scrutiny.

He added: “I just think we ought to get the facts to the American people. I mean, I’ve always believed in transparency.”

When challenged on the president’s rebuke of supporters calling for release and his dismissal of the Epstein files as a Democratic “hoax,” Pence hit back at the idea:

Well, Jeffrey Epstein’s prosecution began during the Bush administration. He’s blaming it on Democrats. The Obama years. It’s not a hoax. I know of no reason why this administration, once the victims’ names are protected, should not release all the files on Jeffrey Epstein.
