O’Reilly Grills Palin About GOP Tea Party Infighting: ‘You Can’t Keep Sniping at Each Other’

A few weeks after Bill O’Reilly remarked that Sarah Palin won’t come on his show, Sarah Palin came on Bill O’Reilly’s show to talk about the state of the Republican party, and O’Reilly actually challenged her for stirring the pot on more than one occasion.

O’Reilly told Palin that she’s very “divisive” within the GOP, and when she and Ted Cruz go rogue and attack the Republican establishment, the liberal media will “exploit” it. Palin agree that while they can disagree, “there does need to be that united mission.”

O’Reilly shot back, “You can’t keep sniping at each other.” He said point-blank that the GOP will have no chance of winning the Senate in 2014 if they keep doing it, adding that it’s discomforting whenever “the tea party doesn’t compromise and wants to blow things up.”

They also touched on Martin Bashir, and O’Reilly asked Palin what she would have done if she had been Bashir’s boss. Palin said that had she been in charge at MSNBC, she never would have allowed the “corporate culture” to get so corrosive that comments like Bashir’s would have been allowed in the first place.
