Mike Pence Declines to Call David Duke Deplorable: I Don’t Like ‘Name-Calling’

Mike Pence declined an opportunity to call David Duke “deplorable” today because he doesn’t like name-calling.

When Blitzer brought up Duke in the context of Hillary Clinton‘s “basket of deplorables” remark, Pence said that he doesn’t understand why people keep bringing Duke up when Trump has already denounced him.

Blitzer asked him if he would call Duke “deplorable.”

Pence said, “No, I’m not in the name-calling business, Wolf. You know me better than that.”
