Sean Hannity Declares ‘Operation Dump and Destroy Joe Biden Is In Full Force’ in Democratic Party

Sean Hannity declared that “operation dump and destroy Joe Biden” is in full swing in the Democratic Party ahead of Donald Trump addressing the Republican National Convention on Thursday.

Hannity joined Fox & Friends on Thursday morning to discuss the Trump speech and the state of Biden’s candidacy amid calls for him to drop out from within his own party. Hannity pointed to Biden making a slow walk up the stairs to Air Force One following his testing positive for Covid as only the latest moment that “is not a good look” for the president amid questions about his age and stamina.

“Operation dump and destroy Joe Biden is in full force now,” Hannity said.

The Fox News host argued that Barack Obama gave a “wink and a nod” to George Clooney ahead of the filmmaker penning an op-ed calling for Biden to drop out. Hannity was referencing reports Clooney spoke with Obama ahead of the piece being published. He also pointed to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) raising questions with a recent Morning Joe interview in which she insisted it is Biden’s decision whether to remain in the race.

Hannity name-checked others who have been more direct in their criticism of Biden’s candidacy, including strategist James Carville.

He criticized Democrats, arguing he’s been accusing Biden of having “cognitive dysfunction” for years now. The White House has said Biden has passed three cognitive tests since being president, all part of his annual physicals.

Hannity accused Democrats, the “party of coastal elites,” of pushing Biden and now potentially turning their backs on primary voters who backed Biden, noting the president has already clinched the nomination with his delegate count.

“If democracy is in peril, this is the party that wanted to keep Donald Trump off the ballot in states. If democracy is in peril, this is now the party that wants to disenfranchise millions and millions of Democratic voters that got up and went to the polls and voted for the candidate of their choice,” he said.
