The Five Rips ‘Boring’ Mika Brzezinski For Calling Trump ‘Unhinged’: She’s ‘Jealous’ of His ‘Talent’

Fox News’ The Five took on Mika Brzezinski on Friday, after the MSNBC host declared (once again) that President Donald Trump was mentally “unhinged and getting worse by the day.”

It’s not a new claim from the Morning Joe co-host, who seems every so often to decide this is the rally where Trump has officially lost it.

“How is his rally last night different than any other rally?” Five co-host Dana Perino asked. “I don’t understand where she thinks all of a sudden something’s different.

“I think she’s jealous,” Jesse Watters claimed. “She’s jealous because it takes a lot of talent to do what he does.”

Watters then embarked on a remarkable speech hailing Trump’s performance:

“To be able to read a crowd the way he does, it’s not someone that’s unhinged, it’s someone that’s so focused, and so in tune to the crowd and their reaction, the timing, the sensibility of the way your words are going over with the crowd, and the way you perceive the crowd, if they’re losing patience or losing interest, to jolt them back at it. That takes timing, that takes precision, not a lot of people are able to do that.”

For a taste of the kind of focused rhetorical finesse Watters is referring to, here’s a real quote from Trump at a recent rally:

“I have broken more Elton John records, he seems to have a lot of records. And I, by the way, I don’t have a musical instrument. I don’t have a guitar or an organ. No organ. Elton has an organ. And lots of other people helping. No we’ve broken a lot of records. We’ve broken virtually every record. Because you know, look I only need this space. They need much more room. For basketball, for hockey and all of the sports, they need a lot of room. We don’t need it. We have people in that space. So we break all of these records. Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.”

But I digress. Greg Gutfeld weighed in next by claiming “boring people think interesting people are crazy.”

“She’s effectively boring,” Gutfeld said of Brzezinski. “The only thing interesting about her is her last name.”
