‘This Is Not Normal’: Fox News Host Compares RFK Jr. To Serial Killer Jeffrey Dahmer Over ‘Bizarre’ Roadkill Obsession
Fox News anchor Griff Jenkins jokingly compared Robert F Kennedy Jr. to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer as he discussed the former presidential candidate’s “bizarre” interest in collecting roadkill.
Jenkins appeared on Fox News’ MediaBuzz on Sunday when host Howard Kurtz discussed the resurfaced claim that Kennedy once cut the head off a dead beached whale using a chainsaw so he could take it home, tying it to the roof of his vehicle.
Environmentalists are now calling for an investigation into Kennedy over the removal and transportation of the head, which may have broken the law.
The incident itself reportedly happened around 1994 and was first told in a 2012 Town & Country interview with Kennedy Jr.’s daughter, Kathleen ‘Kick’ Kennedy.
Kurtz relayed the story to viewers:
Kennedy, who’s already admitted covering up, putting a dead bear in his car, now faces a tale once told by his daughter, Kick, about how he used a chainsaw to cut off the head of a dead whale and strapped it to the roof of his car. What is it with RFK and dead animals? Mitt Romney should ask for a recount for all the media mockery he got for putting a dog, his dog, on his roof. At least the dog was alive!
In response Jenkins took the jibes a step further, comparing Kennedy to another famous collector of roadkill, Dahmer:
This is not normal. You know who else collected roadkill? Jeffrey Dahmer. This is really bizarre stuff. An environmental group is actually calling for an investigation to see if that incident violated some sort of mammal marine protection act. So he could actually face some sort of investigation.
After a lengthy presidential campaign as an independent, during which many strange stories emerged from his past, Kennedy was tapped to serve on former President Donald Trump’s transition team on Tuesday after endorsing the Republican candidate.
