Trevor Noah Comes Up with a Better Role for Trump Than President…

tonight went right at one of the biggest problems of the 2016 campaign: voters want a brilliant politician but also a “best friend.”

He mocked all the different ways politicians have tried to show off they’re just like you––from Hillary Clinton‘s subway adventure to Bernie Sanders seeing Hamilton to John Kasich wolfing down as much food as possible in the Bronx.

Noah’s only conclusion is that America “must elect both a president and a mascot”––a policy wonk and someone who can pump America up.

And if you’re wondering where we could possibly find a “brightly colored cartoon character” with “a giant head and weird-sized hands”…
