Trump Says He’ll Set Up ‘Commission on Radical Islam’ If He’s President

trump 3During his big foreign policy speech today, Donald Trump declared that as president, he would set up a “commission on radical Islam.”

He said this would be one of his first acts as presidena, and that he would bring in “reformist voices in the Muslim community who will hopefully work with us.”

“We want to build bridges and erase divisions,” he said. “The goal of the commission will be to identify and explain to the American public the core convictions and beliefs of radical Islam, to identify the warning signs of radicalization, and to expose the networks in our society that support radicalization.”

He said that the commission would come up with solutions that would be implemented by law enforcement and immigration screeners.
