WATCH Pro-Life Activist’s Street Interview Turns Bloody and Violent: ‘This Is Absolutely Unacceptable’
A pro-life activist was assaulted during the middle of an on-the-street interview on the topic of abortion.
Pro-life influencer Savannah Craven Antao was interviewing an unidentified woman in the Thursday clip when the woman punched her twice before walking off.
“You just don’t understand the magnitude of having a child,” the interviewee said during the chat that went way off the rails.
“Well, I’m not the one who admitted they would be okay with killing babies in foster care and killing children that have been abused,” Antao replied.
“That’s not the point! What I’m saying,” the woman said before she dropped her point and then threw her fists, knocking Antao to the ground.
The cameraman, who is the husband of Antao, stepped in between the pair. Antao said NYPD officers arrived in minutes and they drove around looking for the woman, but she has not been found. Antao was filming the segment for the pro-life organization Live Action.
Antao, who had suffered a cut above her eye when she was hit with the woman’s phone, spoke with Fox News’ Will Cain on The Will Cain Show, calling the assault “absolutely unacceptable.” Part of the interview was rebroadcast on Fox & Friends Weekend on Saturday.
Antao said:
Right after she hit me with her second punch with her phone which is what split open my eyebrow, my husband, who is also my cameraman, was able to intervene because she had actually stepped back to launch back at me and he was able to push her away and she started to walk and do this weird dance and start laughing as she was walking away and the cops got there in record time, about two minutes after I called, they were there. We were driving around in the cop car trying to see where she was. Unfortunately, we haven’t found her. I hope this interview today helps us find her because we need justice. This is absolutely unacceptable for just having a different opinion than someone.
