‘What’s Funny About That?’ Reporters Press Huckabee Sanders Over Trump’s Police Brutality ‘Joke’

During today’s White House press briefing, a reporter followed up with Sarah Huckabee Sanders after she dismissed President Trump‘s comments on police brutality yesterday as a “joke.”

When asked if the President was really joking about police brutality, Huckabee Sanders said, “Not at all. I think you guys are jumping and trying to make something out of nothing. He was simply making a comment, making a joke.”

Reporters immediately called out things like “What’s so funny?” and “What’s funny about that?” and “Should he apologize for that joke?”

Reporters followed up later, asking if the President would apologize. She said she would have to get back to them on that.
