‘Trump Is Old And Quite Weird’: Kamala Harris Camp Hits Back At ’78-Year-Old Criminal’ Trump’s Fox News Interview
Harris for President tore into former President Donald Trump over a Fox News interview in which he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “garbage” among other things.
Trump has been on the attack since President Joe Biden dropped out and VP Harris ascended to the position of presumptive nominee, including in an interview on Thursday’s edition of Fox & Friends.
The Harris campaign responded with a memo — entitled “Statement on a 78-Year-Old Criminal’s Fox News Appearance” — claiming Trump is lashing out because he’s rattled, and attacking him over his age and criminal record — among other things:

Harris for President Spokesperson James Singer released the following statement after Donald Trump’s Fox rant:
“This election is about what America we want to live in. An erratic Donald Trump offers only chaos, fear, and hate. The dangerous threats of an old man don’t create jobs, protect our rights, or keep us safe. Vice President Kamala Harris offers something different: freedom, lower costs, and opportunity for all.”
Trump was set off by a chunk of a Harris speech calling him a “predator” — a description once used by his now-running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH).
“I get a kick out of one thing. They say, ‘Sir, be nice. You just got hit with a bullet. Maybe he’s changed. Be nice,’ and I’d love to be nice, but I’m dealing against real garbage when you hear that,” Trump said.
