OOPS! Watch Trump Totally Whiff On the Name of the Doctor Who Gave Him His Cognitive Test — While Bragging About How He ‘Aced it’

Former President Donald Trump once again bragged about how well he did on a cognitive test he took back in 2018. But while he was boasting about his success, he botched the name of the doctor who administered the exam.

Speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Detroit on Saturday, the former president recalled his past success on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test — typically used to screen for mild cognitive issues — while challenging President Joe Biden to take the test.

“I think he should take a cognitive test like I did,” Trump said. “I took a cognitive test and I aced it.”

The current president’s mental acuity has been at the top of the news of late — following a controversial Wall Street Journal feature which questioned the president’s cognitive abilities. While critics argued that piece relied too heavily on Republicans, polls from this year have shown as many as 86 percent of Americans believe Biden, 81, is too old for a second term.

Still, Trump — who turned 78 on Friday — has faced questions of his own about his mental sharpness of late. And the gaffe he made Saturday night likely will not quiet those critics. Because right after he bragged about he “aced” his cognitive test, Trump butchered the name of the medical professional who gave him that high mark.

“Doc Ronny Johnson,” Trump said. “Does everyone know Ronny Johnson, congressman from Texas? He was the White House doctor, and he said I was the healthiest president, he feels, in history, so I liked him very much indeed immediately.”

Trump was referring to Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX).
