Trump Rally Opener Biffs Attack Line — Tells Joke About How Old ‘Donald Trump’ Is

Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI) biffed his lines as an opening act for former President Donald Trump, telling the crowd a joke about how old “Donald Trump” was when he was elected to the Senate.

Trump held a rally in Racine, Wisconsin on Tuesday — just days after Trump earned headlines with a reported slam on the Wisconsin city that will host the Republican National Convention.

During a closed-door meeting with Republican Congressional leaders last week, Trump trashed Milwaukee, reportedly telling them “Milwaukee, where we are having our convention, is a horrible city.”

As usual, pro-Trump media outlet Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) was on hand to interview members of the crowd waiting to get in before the rally, to cover the opening acts, to carry the speech, and to gush about Trump in between all the action.

Hours before Trump’s speech began, Rep. Stiel took the stage for about ten minutes to warm up the crowd, and blew one of his opening jokes so bad, he told the crowd “I’m gonna get myself in trouble here”:

ANNOUNCER: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage, Congressman Bryan Stiel!

REP. BRYAN STEIL (R-WI): Are you guys ready to elect President Donald Trump and make him the 47th president of the United States?

Look around. Isn’t it great to be at a Trump rally? And there’s no better place than downtown Racine on the water? And you see that boat with all the Trump flags? People are excited to elect President Donald Trump!

It’s nice to be at a Trump rally where you start with a prayer, a pledge, and the national anthem, right? And you notice everybody that’s come up and back has had no problem walking on the stage?

It’s hard to believe– Donald Trump was first elected to the United States Senate when I was negative eight years old! That’s true!

(total silence)

*President Biden* was elected when I was negative eight years old. I’m gonna get myself in trouble.

(smattered laughter)
