Ann Coulter Suggests Citizenship Denial to Blind, Disabled Immigrants

Ann CoulterAnn Coulter has successfully managed to attract lots of attention on the media tour of her newest book, Adios America.

Coulter made headlines last week after refusing to accept a hug from an undocumented immigrant during a segment with Jorge Ramos, and then again when she told Breitbart that would refuse to allow overweight girls in if she were in charge of immigration. On Thursday, Coulter implied in an interview that her ban would also extend to the blind and those who require wheelchairs.

In an interview with Simon Conway of iHeart Radio, Coulter expressed her disdain for various accommodations provided for those applying for U.S. citizenship. She began with Spanish-language naturalization ceremonies before moving to criticize the waiving of English tests for immigrants who have been in the U.S. for decades.

“But beyond that”, Coulter asked, “how about the wheelchair-only section? How about the section for the blind? Look, [I] wish these people well, but we’re not running an international charity here.”

Coulter went on to say that it was “insane” to allow people in who are going to need taxpayer assistance. She said that instead, immigration policies should only be bringing in those who she described as “better than us”.

“We have our own poor people, this includes all of the immigrants who have come in, well, [since] forever…it’s people living here in America we should be taking care of, and not people we have to help
