Beck Blows Up at GOP Rep. for Backing Paul Ryan: ‘I Don’t Believe Any of You!’
Glenn Beck pretty much lost it on a Republican member of the House Freedom Caucus today for, as he put it, caving and backing Paul Ryan for Speaker.
Beck, who ripped into the caucus on Facebook after they said they’d support Ryan, really let Barry Loudermilk have it for supporting someone in “the Mitt Romney crowd.” He said people like Ryan “despise” conservatives, so he doesn’t understand why any conservative looking to change things would back him.
Loudermilk insisted that there’s plenty that can be reformed under Ryan’s speakership, but Beck was having none of it. He cried, “I don’t believe any of you guys in Washington, quite frankly! None anymore! I did my own homework and I really turned over every stone. I don’t know if you did that, Barry, other than Googling!”
He demanded to know what Ryan said to change his mind.
In fact, Beck got so upset that at a different point in the segment, his co-hosts told him that’s the “meanest” he’s ever been.
