Beck: Michelle Obama Gave Most Effective Political Speech I’ve Seen Since Reagan

Glenn Beck watched Michelle Obama‘s speech this week and came away with the conclusion that “this is the most effective ‘political speech’ I have seen since perhaps Reagan.”

For those who haven’t seen it, the First Lady gave a very moving speech expressing her outrage and disgust at Donald Trump‘s words and actions on the subject of sexual assault.

She said, “This is disgraceful. It is intolerable. It doesn’t matter what party you belong to. Democrat, Republican, Independent––no woman deserves to be treated this way. None of us deserves it.”

Not only did Beck thing her speech was great, but he lamented that this kind of thing isn’t being said on the right these days:

Whether you like her or not, whether you even believe her or not, the words she spoke were true and this is what happens when the truth based deep eternal principles is spoken.

This is what happens when we abandon our principles.

It makes me very sad, that this wasn’t spoken by the conservatives.

He still thinks there’s some hypocrisy in Obama saying these things when her party “excused Bill Clinton” and the woman who “threatened” his accusers, but still thinks this was an important speech because the right “abandoned the moral high ground and principles that we all know are true.”
