Beck on Mizzou Protests: Let Universities ‘Feel the Wrath of What They Have Created’

beckBefore the president of the University of Missouri announced he’s stepping down today, Glenn Beck said the university is getting “exactly what they deserve” with the ongoing protests.

President Tim Wolfe is resigning today after black students have been speaking up for months about incidents of racism on campus. The football team refused to play in protest. When reporters tried to cover this today, they got an earful from students about a “no media safe space.”

On his radio show today, Glenn Beck said he absolutely supports those protests because “these bastards did this to themselves.”

Basically, Beck’s point is that universities have become such coddling environments that when the students who don’t feel coddled enough turn on the administrators, the administrators “get exactly what they deserve.”

He lamented how at universities across the country, “students have become unhinged,” and said that maybe they’ll learn better if we “let the universities feel the wrath of what they have created.”
