Beck to Obama: ‘Unfairness’ Didn’t Drive Baltimore Unrest, Liberal Policies Did
President Obama recently said that a sense of unfairness and powerlessness has fueled unrest in places like Ferguson and Baltimore, and that really set off Glenn Beck today. He and his co-hosts were practically shouting about how Democrats have run all the places the president referred to.
Beck blamed liberal policies for some of the failures Obama cited, including places closing their doors due to labor unions.
And furthermore, Beck said, it’s not “unfairness” that causes unrest, it’s being “told, constantly, that you are powerless, that you cannot make it, that everything is stacked against you.”
Combine that with how liberals set up roadblocks to success, he added, and there’s a pretty clear reason why there’s so much unrest in black communities.
