BREAKING: Doug Jones Wins Alabama Special Election

Doug Jones has won the Alabama Senate special election.
Jones beat out Roy Moore after all the allegations of sexual misconduct against him and recent focus on past controversial statements he’s made.
The Alabama Democrat got a lot of support due to the multiple controversies surrounding Moore, and just last week he said, “I believe women are every bit as capable as men, that they deserve to be elected to public office. And I damn sure believe that I have done my part to ensure that men who hurt little girls should go to jail and not the United States Senate.”
President Trump supported Moore and told people during his Florida rally to “get out and vote for Roy Moore.”
The race was insanely close into the night and Jones’ margin of victory was remarkably close (mere thousands of votes). But Fox News and the AP were first to call and a ton of other news outlets followed suit.
