Brian Williams Calls Obama ‘President Reagan’ Following Afghanistan Remarks

MSNBC news anchor Brian Williams is having a weird couple of days. After tossing repeatedly to Hall & Oates and making a tin-eared reference to Richard Pryor on Tuesday, Williams concluded President Obama’s brief press remarks Wednesday by badly misidentifying him. Obama spoke from the White House to announce that he will maintain 8,400 troops in Afghanistan until next year, after which Williams gave this inaccurate yet emphatic wrap-up:

“President Reagan at the White House…”

Maybe it’s time for Williams to take a vacation.
