Cleveland Indians Pitcher Rips Apple and Twitter For ‘Flood(ing) My Phone With…Anti Trump Articles’

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer follows just 15 users from his verified Twitter account. Some are sports accounts, others focus on cars or drones. None appear to be political in nature.
But despite that, the pitcher claims he is inundated with what he terms to be “liberal slanted anti trump (sic) articles,” for which he blames Twitter and Apple.
Really annoyed that @Apple and @Twitter continue to flood my phone with liberal slanted anti trump articles. fair and equal reporting? No?

A follower Tweeted to inform Bauer that the content a user sees on the social media platform is based on the accounts they follow. Bauer replied:
@wdfenstermaker @Apple @Twitter I don’t follow any news and yet I still get liberal ? delivered to my phone. Hmmm

Bauer then proceeded to get into an at-times contentious back-and-forth with his followers over various matters relating, directly or indirectly, to President Donald Trump. Here’s a sampling of the heated exchange:
