Don Jr. and Eric Fire Back at Jeb Bush For Suggesting Trump’s Kids Don’t Love Him: He’s Everything ‘You’re Not’

In response to Jeb Bush’s joke suggesting President Donald Trump’s children do not “love” him yesterday, sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. called-out the former GOP presidential candidate by voicing their affection for their father on Twitter.

Bush, who made the comment while speaking at Yale yesterday, said that he sees children “who actually love me,” unlike Trump.

The president’s children were apparently not fond of that narrative.

“Jeb! I love everything about my father,” tweeted Donald Jr. in response. “I love that he’s a fighter, I love that he has guts, I love that he’s President (all those things you’re not) Also love that he learned enough about politics in a few weeks to dismantle you piece by piece despite it being your life’s work.”

Additionally, Eric — the less politically involved and more business focused of Trump’s adult sons — also fired off a tweet at Bush, and even mocked one of the failed candidate’s more widely ridiculed campaign moments.

.@JebBush I actually love my father very much. #PleaseClap

Aside from hitting the Trump family, Bush also joked to the Yale audience that he’s still recovering from the 2016 election, saying, “I’m not going to talk about the 2016 election. I’m still in therapy.”
