Ed Schultz Uses New MSNBC Slogan ‘Lean Forward’ As Rallying Cry For Democrats

A few weeks ago MSNBC unveiled some new promos that featured a news the slogan, “Lean Forward.” On his MSNBC show last last week, host Ed Schultz used the new MSNBC catchphrase “Lean Forward” to urge Democrats to go to the polls to defeat Republicans in the coming election, further blurring the line between news, opinion, and advocacy.

As the editors of right-of-center Breitbart.TV say in their post, “Not sure if this is what the executives at NBC had in mind with their new slogan… or, maybe this is exactly what they had in mind.”

While this doesn’t go as far as Sean Hannity‘s active fund-raising effort for his former Fox News colleague John Kasich, it does remove any doubt that MSNBC on-air staff are working to advance the Democratic agenda and Fox News a Republican one.
