Fallon, Justin Timberlake Channel 2001: A Space Odyssey for Apple Ad

Any right-thinking human being is able to appreciate the majesty of the epic 2001: A Space Odyssey theme song. Well, what if Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake sang it a cappella? Well, that’s exactly what they do in a new ad promoting Apple’s brand new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Apple announced these new phones in their annual Shut Up and Take My Money keynote, which this year also gave us Apple Pay (a system to kill the credit card as we know it) and the Apple Watch.

Apple put out a couple of ads teasing their new products, including the one of Fallon and Timberlake singing. You don’t see their faces, but you can tell it’s them by the “bum bum bum”s.
