Flight Put on Lockdown After Someone Wrote ‘Be Careful, Ebola’ Note
A flight from Italy to Dublin, Ireland was put on lockdown at its destination after one passenger scared people by saying he has Ebola. And how did he tell people? He wrote on a coffee cup, “Be careful, Ebola.”
According to the Irish Independent, this Aer Lingus flight was put on lockdown for almost an hour at the Dublin airport. A passenger made it known to a flight attendant that he supposedly had Ebola, thus triggering all the panic.
Paramedics went on the plane to look into the matter, and it turned out that the man did not have Ebola. Three people, all Italians, ended up arrested over the incident. The airline and airport assured in separate statements that they quickly handled the situation and it’s all settled now.
