Glenn Greenwald Returns to the United States
After flirting with the idea of returning home for months now, journalist Glenn Greenwald has finally come back to the United States. Greenwald landed in New York City today and was greeted by reporters upon his arrival.

Turkewitz notes in the tweet that no arrest was attempted. Greenwald had previously addressed concerns that he might be arrested if he returns to the States, given how members of Congress have gone so far as to insinuate he was an accomplice to Edward Snowden‘s actions. He said in February that he planned on returning to the U.S. because “just the fucking principle is enough.”
